The story behind Rich & Reeves

Stephanie Reeves and Daniel Rich met in 2023 when they performed in Kipps - Half a Sixpence with Godalming Theatre Group, in Surrey. Both with a professional background they immediately took to singing together. Developing their on-stage chemistry further through appearing together in Little Shop of Horrors, The Wedding Singer, and Sister Act, they eventually decided to take their performance opportunities to another level and go into business together in 2025. Since then, they have already performed in numerous venues across Surrey and Sussex with their shows being in high demand.

They have thoroughly enjoyed the creative process of setting up Rich & Reeves - from spending evenings in a recording studio (big shout out to Sankofa Studios), to engaging in various photoshoots. Their creative flare, powerful vocals, and sense of adventure have now ignited the launch of three energetic shows, packed with great music and they are delighted to be bringing these shows to audiences across South East England through 2026 and into 2027.

Headshot of Stephanie

Stephanie

Originally from Glastonbury in Somerset, Stephanie graduated with a degree in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol before pursuing a career in theatre. A talented musician from an early age, she began playing piano at just three years old, developing a strong foundation in musical theory and performance. Alongside dance classes and amateur theatre, she trained in oboe and singing to grade 8 standard and was a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain for several years. She later secured a place at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on her first attempt in 2008, completing a year of professional Musical Theatre training.

Stephanie has gone on to enjoy a professional singing career across the UK and internationally, including work on cruise ships. Her repertoire spans genres from 60s pop classics and modern rock, to jazz & swing, country, musical theatre, and iconic James Bond themes. Career highlights include performing in the Thursford Christmas Spectacular in 2010, where she sang as a soloist for HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton at the Royal Gala, as well as appearances in West End Eurovision and at Great Ormond Street Hospital alongside the London cast of Phantom of the Opera. Stephanie continues to gig regularly with her Surrey-based bands and performs regularly in local shows and concerts. She is also a regular singer for KD Band, and sings for Capital Voices in London.

Alongside her performing career, Stephanie has pursued her passion for science, completing a second degree in Astrophysics in 2018 followed by a Master’s in Space Engineering. She now works as a Senior Mission Concepts Engineer for Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd, designing future space missions and collaborating with global space agencies. She is passionate about science communication and is currently further developing her skills in science writing and presenting for educational outreach. Additionally, she enjoys many hobbies, including tennis, hiking, travelling, painting, gardening, and live music.

Despite her busy schedule, in 2026, Stephanie has been delighted to launch "SR Entertainments" - an umbrella company covering her ongoing solo work, as well as two new avenues of business: Rich & Reeves (a musical duo with fellow performer, Daniel Rich), and Weddings & Events where she provides bespoke entertainment packages for high-end events.

Headshot of Dan

Daniel

Dan first stepped onto the stage at the age of five, following in his father’s footsteps, and theatre has been a huge part of his life ever since. What began as a childhood passion quickly grew into a lifelong love of performing, storytelling and live entertainment.

Dan studied at Guildford College and the Guildford School of Acting, gaining experience both onstage and behind the scenes. Alongside his theatre training, he completed a degree in Multi-Hospitality Business Management and has built a successful career in hospitality spanning more than 20 years.

Over the years, Dan’s career has taken him into hotels, resorts and events, where he has led teams, worked with a wonderfully diverse mix of people and learned the art of bringing people together and creating memorable experiences. Those years have given him a wealth of skills, from leadership and organisation to, perhaps most importantly, understanding what makes people tick. But however busy his professional life has become, his love of theatre has never been far away.

He has remained actively involved with local drama groups, performing regularly and throwing himself into all aspects of production — from teaching and directing to stage management. Whether centre stage, behind the curtain or helping bring a production to life, Dan brings the same enthusiasm, energy and genuine love of live theatre to everything he does.

In 2026, Dan is delighted to be performing alongside Stephanie Reeves as part of the musical duo Rich and Reeves. Together, they hope to entertain and delight audiences far and wide, combining their talents and experience with their shared passion for theatre, music and live entertainment. Through every performance, Dan and Stephanie aim to create memorable experiences that celebrate the joy, creativity and magic of theatre.
